What is prix fixe?

Prix Fixe means fixed price. It is a French term that refers to a pre-selected menu of dishes at a set price. Our standard fixed price menu is five courses––appetizer, soup, salad, entrée and dessert for only $26 If you are looking for something a little lighter opt for any three of the courses for $20.

Sweet Potato Tempura

Chile dipping sauce.


Artichoke Gratin

Crostini, kalamata tapenade, feta cheese.


Shrimp Skewers

Mango chile glaze.



Soup


Butternut Squash Soup

Cream.


Roasted Corn and Bacon Chowder

Fresh thyme.



Salad


Field Salad

Roasted root vegetables, queso fresco and parmesan croutons dressed in balsamic vinaigrette.


Caprese Salad

Baby spinach, fresh mozzarella cheese and tomato drizzled with basil vinaigrette.

Entrees


Cornbread Stuffed Pork Loin

Served with potato and green bean gratin, home-style pan gravy.


Blackened Catfish Filet

Chipotle Cheddar Mashed potatoes, sautéed spinach, roasted red pepper cream sauce.


Lemon Herb Marinated Chicken Breast

Panzanella salad, roast green beans.


Roasted Portobello Penne Pasta

Sautéed greens, roasted red pepper in parmesan cream.

Dessert


Summer Berry Crepe

Raspberry coulis, whipped cream


Caramel Pecan Sundae

Vanilla ice cream, chocolate drizzle, whipped cream


Toasted Marshmallow Affogato

Vanilla ice cream doused with warm espresso, whipped cream and dusted with graham cracker crumbs

Cafe Too’s dinner menu changes weekly to reflect both seasonal availability of ingredients, as well as giving us the opportunity to demonstrate a wide variety of dishes to our culinary students.
